1. Effective date
This Privacy Policy is effective July 29, 2026. It applies to the CouponGo Canva app, the public CouponGo website, and the contact form.
2. Privacy summary
CouponGo does not require a separate account. Canva's frictionless authentication provides an app-specific user identity used for Free usage limits and the separate CouponGo Pro entitlements.
Coupon codes, manual input, imported table rows, and Canva design content are not sent to the entitlement backend and are not stored in its database.
3. Local coupon and file processing
Random codes are created in the app. Manual codes are read from the text entered in the app. CSV and XLSX files are parsed locally so the user can choose a worksheet and coupon-code column.
During generation, the app uses Canva's own export, upload, and design APIs. A temporary Canva-provided export reference is used to create the flattened background and is not retained by Coupon Code Maker after the workflow.
4. Plan and usage service data
The shared NumberinGo backend stores a verified Canva user identifier, CouponGo plan status, generation reservations, requested and created output counts, reset period, and timestamps needed to enforce product access.
CouponGo uses separate `/api/coupon` routes and separate coupon account, reservation, and Stripe-event tables. Its entitlement and usage records are not shared with the NumberinGo ticket-numbering product.
5. Payments
Stripe processes Pro Yearly subscriptions and Pro Lifetime one-time purchases. CouponGo stores limited Stripe customer, checkout-session, subscription, subscription-status, and webhook-event identifiers required to verify payment, manage yearly access, and prevent duplicate processing.
CouponGo does not receive or store a complete payment card number. Stripe handles payment and billing information under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
6. Canva permissions and service providers
The app requests Canva permissions required to inspect the active design, temporarily hide and restore the marker, upload the flattened image, and add generated pages and editable coupon text.
Canva, Stripe, and the selected infrastructure provider process limited technical data under their own terms. Hosting may temporarily process standard request data such as IP addresses, timestamps, and security logs.
If a user sends the contact form, CouponGo stores the name, email address, selected subject, message, and submission time so the request can be reviewed and answered. A temporary IP-based limit is used to reduce spam, but the IP address is not saved with the message.
7. Retention and deletion
Coupon files, code lists, and design copies are not retained in the plan database. Account, entitlement, reservation, and payment verification records are retained only as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and prevent fraud.
When Canva sends the supported uninstall request, CouponGo first cancels an active Pro Yearly subscription, then deletes the associated coupon account, usage, and entitlement records. This does not delete unrelated NumberinGo product records. Payment and infrastructure providers may retain records under their own legal obligations.
Contact messages are retained for up to 12 months unless they are needed longer to resolve an active request, meet a legal obligation, or protect the service from abuse. A user may request deletion through the Contact form.
8. Security, children, and changes
The service uses authenticated requests, origin restrictions, server-side secrets, verified Stripe webhooks, and database access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
CouponGo is not directed to children below the age required to use Canva and purchase digital services in their jurisdiction. This policy may be updated when features, providers, or legal requirements change.
